Keep an eye out for petition-gatherers in our area. It seems that there’s a new ballot initiative gathering signatures, this one to deny public services to illegal (allegedly) residents and their U.S.-born children.

On May 19, 2009 California will be holding a Special Election with 6 Propositions on the Ballot, all fiscal in nature. Voters will be deciding on 6 billion dollars in measures to bandage California’s financial situation.
